Duphalac Lemon Flavour Oral Solution is a laxative used to manage constipation. It is also used to manage hepatic encephalopathy (liver disease). It contains lactulose as active ingredient.

Lactulose breaks down in the large intestine and then draws water into the intestine. This softens your stool and easier to pass, which helps ease constipation. It is also used to lower ammonia levels in the blood of people with liver disease.

Always take Duphalac Lemon Flavour Oral Solution as advised by your physician. Shake the bottle well before use. Take 20 ml of Duphalac Lemon Flavour Oral Solution daily or as recommended, with or without food, using a spoon or measuring cup or as directed by the physician. You can mix it with fruit juice or water. It is recommended that you drink plenty of fluids (approximately 6-8 glasses throughout the day). Swallow the dose immediately.
